ONE, HMM, and Yang Ming Announce “Premier Alliance”

On September 9, Ocean Network Express (ONE), HMM, and Yang Ming Marine Transport announced their new alliance, “Premier Alliance,” effective February 2025 for five years. The alliance will cover key east-west routes, including Asia-North America (both coasts), Asia-Mediterranean, Asia-Northern Europe, and Asia-Middle East.

This partnership aims to enhance reliability and flexibility in services while expanding coverage. Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE, expressed enthusiasm about strengthening the existing network and providing reliable end-to-end services for trans-Pacific and Asia-Europe trades.

Yang Ming’s Chairman, Chao Fengming, highlighted the deep trust and shared vision among the partners and their commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality, and competitive solutions.

Additionally, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will collaborate with “Premier Alliance” for slot exchanges starting February 2025, covering Asia-Northern Europe and Asia-Mediterranean routes.

Nixon noted that MSC’s leadership in Asia-Europe routes will help offer a more resilient and extensive network, and he looks forward to the new partnership.
